The Fulbright-Schuman program is now accepting applications from European students and scholars to study or conduct research in the United States on transatlantic relations. This prestigious award enables European students and academics of all EU Member States the opportunity to advance their study or research at a U.S. university or institution for a period of 3 to 9 months. The deadline for applications is December 1, 2017.
The grant is open to candidates from all academic fields, and roughly 5-10 scholars and 5-10 students receive the Fulbright-Schuman grants each year. Additionally, one applicant will be granted the Fulbright-Schuman Innovation grant, which aims to support work that improves the understanding of the US-EU relationship, particularly at the intersection of policy and technology. The 2018-19 Innovation Award will give preference to proposals focused on EU or US-EU approaches to innovative technologies and business models, and their integration with new and existing policies and regulations.
